Mariam and Fatima (MF Twins), presented an overview of their first novel, I Know Who You Are!, at the fifth ‘Unleash You DNA’ seminar conducted on 11th October, 2008 at the SPJ Center of Management, Dubai Academic City. This seminar was organized by the RAW GROUP, headed by Reg Athwal.
This was the first public announcement of the novel, I Know Who You Are!, which will release in Spring 2009 by Olympia Publishers, United Kingdom.
Fatima shared with the audience how the twins had unleashed their DNA and discovered their writing talent. She introduced the concept of Character Skins, which is the main highlight of their book.
What the Soul is to the Body – A Character Skin is to the Personality.
As the Body wears a Soul the Personality wears a Character Skin.
“Character Skins are within people but unlike the soul of a person, which is invisible, you can see a person’s Character Skin. The main character of our story, Sultan discovers the secret by which he can see the Character Skin of a person. So the moment he looks at a person, he knows him, through his Character Skin.” Mariam explained.
The presentation was followed by a Question & Answer session, which was prominently dominated by questions about the Character Skins – the audience was curious to learn more about Headspin, Scuff, Sticklip, Hammerhead and Flipside.
The presentation concluded on an inspirational quote,

Every person has a Character Skin which guides his behaviour and inspires his conversations. If you know a person’s Character Skin, you can understand, respond and deal with him effectively.
As Sultan prepares to move with his family into their new house, he stumbles across a mystical leather diary, which brings him into contact with his grandfather, who had left the family five years ago.
At first shocked and horrified by Grandfather’s unique insight, Sultan discovers the startling but accurate characteristics of the five Character Skins, Sticklip, Flipside, Hammerhead, Headspin and Scuff, who are unique in appearance, attitude and school of thought.
Sultan begins the journey of identifying people’s Character Skins and predicting their behaviour. However, what he loves most is the fact that he can say, ‘I know who you are!’ to anyone he meets, at the very first sight.
